A French couple (pronounced 'broom') is an extremely old bread recipe which basically looks like a flattened egg roll. It may range in ingredients but more often than not it's on the larger side of ordinary bread. A typical module consists of a number of ingredients, most of which are usually yeast and/or levain bread flour. A roux (pronounced roo) is another common ingredient and can consist of a variety of ingredients. Whether or not the ingredients are varied, however, the consistency of the finished product always remains the same: soft and spongy.
Traditionally, a French boule usually contains four ingredients. Firstly, it's yeast. Secondly, it's a mixture of fruits and vegetables. The third component is usually flour. And finally, the bread itself is made from plain yeast or a special yeast called "presentments". When you make a rule, you are combining all four of these ingredients, along with other ingredients, in one go to form a very thick and rich bread crust.
But how does a modern day baker make a French house? The answer, thankfully, is very simple. The only tools you'll need are a traditional wooden bread oven and a couple of ingredients. The main ingredients in this bread recipe are; fresh fruit, preferably raspberries, blueberries, blackberries or strawberries; unbleached flour or pastry flour; and butter. As the recipe states, the butter should be applied at room temperature.
To make a foolish French boule, first of all, you'll need about two quarts of good quality, fresh fruit. Naturally, if you can't find any at your local store, or if the nearest available one is also on sale, then go online and check out raspberry, blueberry, cherry or strawberry berries. You can easily do a search for them and come up with numerous product options. Next, you'll need half a cup of vegetable stock (sometimes called vegetable stock powder) which you can either make yourself or purchase from a health food store. A quarter cup of sugar is a good choice as is vanilla or almond extract. You may want to have a bag of instant yeast stuck into a package of instant oatmeal as well.
Now let's get started! Line your baking pan with unbleached, flourless breadboard paper. Spread half a cup of vegetable stock over the top and in the center. Then, using an entire egg, create a crust by rolling out the yolk, then flattening and twisting the egg so that it forms a crust.
Place the unbleached and flourless breadboard paper on top and add two cups of water and a tablespoon or two of dried yeast. Turn the oven on and preheat to 350. 먹튀검증 Once the timer goes off, remove the browned bottom from the French rule and place the cooled, but not hot, rice flour on top. Place the white and brown grains in the stand mixer and combine until they are mixed thoroughly.
Next, you'll need to add the sugar and the vegetable stock to the mix, then the levain. Slowly mix the ingredients until everything is completely blended. Then take your plastic basket and add about half a cup of the baked bread into the bottom. Add the remaining ingredients (fruits, vegetables, etc.) and gently swirl them around to evenly cover the bottom of the basket.
If the mixture seems too wet, then add enough water to make it pliable. You can also add the ingredients one at a time or mix them altogether until the mixture is fully combined. Cover the loaf with a piece of wax paper and allow it to completely dry before removing from the oven. Place the French boule bread in the fridge for an hour or so, then slice it open and enjoy!
